On the 18th of May 1920, Karol Wojtyła was born at 7 Kościelna Street in Wadowice. Later, Karol became the much-loved Pope John Paul II.
In 1984 an open papal exhibition was set up here, in his home in Wadowice, and since 2010 it has been continuously updated to become a much-loved museum commemorating the life and the impact of his Holiness.
The museum tour last just over an hour and allows time to visit the adjacent Parish Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary
The trip lasts for 4 hours including the journey through the picturesque villages of Southern Poland.
