Poland’s indisputable winter sports and mountaineering capital, situated in the south of Poland, 100 km from Krakow is enjoyed all year round by many international visitors.
Trip plan
Private day trip with a helpful English-speaking driver/tour leader includes:
- Chochołów wooden village with Tatra-style Museum
- Try/eat smoked cheese – regional specialty
- Gubałówka mountain – by car or riding by cable car (beautiful view of Tatra Mountains)
- Krzeptówki – Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima
- The oldest wooden church in this part of Poland – “Na Pęksowym Brzyzku”
- Krupówki – regional bazaar (if time allows)
- Ski-jump including riding by the lift.
At the conclusion of the activities, an experienced driver will take you to a delicious local restaurant for lunch – Highlanders food (extra)
You can decide what to see before the trip – on the day of departure from your accommodation place. We suggest starting about 8:30 from Krakow
